Jason Parker

Jason Parker is a creative media professional who has been working in Atlanta since 2006. He's photographed, produced video, podcasts, websites, and copy for The Carter Center, Public Broadcasting Atlanta, the Savannah College of Art and Design, the Savannah Morning News, and many others. Jason holds an MFA from SCAD in Photography and an MEd in Instructional Technology from Ga. Southern University.

Jason’s company Peculiar Galaxies provides creative services in live streaming, photography, video, web design and other media for businesses and organizations around the state. He also teaches photography and design at Atlanta Technical College and from 2007-2015 produced Art Relish, a website and series of video interviews with Atlanta artists now archived on YouTube.

In addition to his creative work, Jason dabbles in a variety of other pursuits including volunteering as the Digital Media Lab Manager at the Atlanta Center for Photography, a Fulton County Master Gardener, youth soccer coach, and mentoring college students with the UGA Mentor Program.
