Golden Hour Portraits

Join professional portrait photographer, Sara Keith, and learn how to create beautiful portraits at the photographer’s favorite hour, the golden hour! This magical time of day is a photographer’s go-to time for a reason, learn how to maximize your this small window of gorgeous time.

We will explore:

Pros and cons of working with only natural light outdoors
How to make stunning portraits with available light
Working with with a variety of subjects to see how we can control natural light outdoors
Use natural light modifiers and adding in light when necessary
Camera settings, playing with aperture, shutter speed, ISO etc

What do I need for this workshop?

Students are asked to bring their cameras with a portrait lens (with a low aperture), and an external flash if you have one. Bring reflector kits if you own them as well.
