Discover one of the countries truly hidden photography gems, the Georgia Golden Isles.
From beautiful driftwood at sunset, to architectural ruins, the photographic opportunities are endless! We’ll be venturing to three islands; Cumberland Island to visit the wild horses, Saint Simons for beautiful piers and great food, and Jekyll Island for the infamous Driftwood Beach.

Where We’re Staying
We will be staying at the Ocean View Hotel and Suites on Saint Simons Island. You will book your own stay at the hotel to choose the best room for you. Prices from April 10 - 13 start at about $150/night, $500 for the entire length of the stay. However, there are many room options to choose from if you are traveling in a group! How we’re getting around
Each day, we’ll meet in front of the hotel to board a passenger van as Sara chauffeurs you to each island!
Where we’ll eat
Saint Simons has some of the very best food on the Island. You’re welcome to find breakfast each say at many of the island’s cafes, and each night we’ll join for dinner.

About Sara
Sara Keith is the Owner and Director of Atlanta School of Photography. Sara’s grandparents have lived near the Golden Isles for over 30 years and Sara graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2011. She has traveled to the Golden Isles multiple times, including biking 10 miles and camping on Cumberland Island (don’t worry, our workshop is just a short walk!)
Sara is also a foodie and knows the best spots to eat every mile of the way.
She loves returning to one of the most beautiful places in the world to help you capture amazing and unique images!

Location details, timing and specific itinerary will be provided upon registration. Lodging recommendations can be provided in advance, just ask! You will also be provided with Sara’s direct contact information shortly before the workshop.
Lodging and travel to St Simons are not included. Students are expected to reserve their hotel stay in advance and have reliable transportation to the Ocean View Inn and Suites on St Simons Island. Once arrived, we will travel together in a passenger van to and from the Golden Isles.
While you have the option to have lunch and dinner together, meals are not included in the price of the workshop. Sara is more than happy to make recommendations for restaurants if you’d like to venture off on your own!
