Food Photography at Local Republic

If you attended our intro class or just want to get your hands dirty working with a studio space and real food, then this next step workshop is right up your alley! This class is exactly what it sounds like; working with real food in a real restaurant space and exercising those creative photography muscles! Our class will execute the basics from a practical approach while giving you the opportunity to find your own creative flow and style! Depending on the size of the class you may have the opportunity to work with a partner, or shoot on your own. Regardless of the class size, we will also have assistant instructors and a food stylist to help with creative problem solving and guiding you into fun, new compositions!

Our workshop will take place right on the Lawrenceville Square inside Local Republic! This restaurant offers some amazing vignettes which will be a perfect chance for you to experiment with your food, lighting and colors!

Between the setting and the wealth of knowledge from your instructors to guide you, this workshop can only yield beautiful and original results! At the end of this class, you will walk away with a new body of work to add to your portfolio and showcase with future food/restaurant clients! Let's make some food look magical together!

ABOUT LOCAL REPUBLIC:

Local republic was born because we craved something different. Something more. Something better than the ubiquitous suburban fast food and me-too chain options. We were looking for a come-as-you-are kind of a place that served hard-to-find craft beer, great wines, and cocktails. A place that served only the freshest regionally and locally sourced ingredients. A place with no freezers and no decaf coffee. So, we built it and we call it Local Republic.

 SPACE IS LIMITED!
