About the class

Feeling stuck creatively? Looking for new inspiration? Join us for this four week class to get your creative brain ticking! Director, Sara Keith, will guide you through her favorite techniques to build your vision as a photographer, and critiques to better your creativity.

We’ll study numerous photographers for the perfect examples to showcase a wide variety of creative and unique photography.

Each week will introduce a new homework assignment to get those creative juices flowing. We’ll spend ample time at the start of each week sharing our images!

Unlock your creative potential in this dynamic four-week course designed to push the boundaries of your photography. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned shooter, this class will inspire you to see the world through a new lens.

WEEK 2: Visual literacy & Storytelling

  • Creating context clues

WEEK 3: Abstract & Alternative Process

  • Using unique materials

  • Easy at-home exercises to create “no-camera” images

WEEK 4: Creating Your Own World & Building a Concept

  • How to make your photography dreams a reality

  • Studying photographers who have created alternate photo realities

  • Building your own photography projects and concepts to life

Class participation is HIGHLY encouraged!

 How our classes work

Class will be held at the same day and time of your choice each week for four weeks and lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes. (i.e. a Monday 10 AM class will be held every Monday morning for 4 weeks)  If you have any scheduling conflicts, we will try our best to accommodate, just give us a call!

For Our Online Class Option: The class will be held online via Zoom! More info about our online classes can be found here. There is no subscription necessary. Registered students will receive an invite to join the video conference with your instructor. We recommend that students download the Zoom software in advance to become familiar with the layout.
